Great Conversations

Several “Great Conversation” lectures are on tap this semester, sponsored by the Philosophy Department and Phi Sigma Tau Honor society.

  • Feb. 18: “The Mysteries of Mathematics and what they tell us about the universe,” Dr. Steve Danford, Physics & Astronomy.
  • March 18: “A Philosophical Analysis of Cheating,” Dr. Bernard Gert, Dartmouth University.
  • April 15: “Is Science Color-Blind,” an examination of the shocking conclusion of science that objects lack color, taste, smell, heat and cold; Dr. Josh Hoffman, Department of Philosophy.
