Supporting Scholarly Community Engagement

“Supporting Scholarly Community-Engagement in Teaching and Learning” will be a series of sessions offered on March 18-19. The keynote address, workshops and meetings will address faculty professional development, graduate education and early career faculty.

They will be led by Dr. Patti H. She has served as a consultant with over 40 schools, universities, and higher education organizations. She was founding Director of the Center for Excellence in Curricular Engagement at NC State University and served as a Faculty Fellow with National Campus Compact’s Project on Integrating Service with Academic Study. Her work focuses on building the capacity of individuals, units, institutions, and the field as a whole for scholarly community-engaged teaching and learning. Beyond community-engaged teaching and learning, her academic interests include environmental ethics, leadership education, and the history of philosophy of science.
