Changes in Student Rec Memberships and Programs

The Department of Campus Recreation has revised the Student Recreation Center (SRC) membership packages and pricing structure for UNCG employees to stay healthy and active. Power Yoga and Pilates classes are now free to all SRC members, as is their entire group exercise program free. SRC memberships for faculty or staff are as low as $209.

Parking for SRC Members
Through collaborative efforts with Parking Operations & Campus Access Management, all SRC members may request a parking pass from the Department of Campus Recreation for the lot directly across from the SRC (Parking Lot 9 North) during designated hours (Monday – Friday 6-8 a.m. and 4-11 p.m., and weekends). These passes are designed for members to park close to the SRC for a quick workout.

Weight & Lifestyle Management
This program offers group support plus nutrition guidance and personal training. Join registered dietician Jill Sha, from the Wellness Center, fitness director and coordinator Dr. Heather Sanderson and Sarah McCollum along with personal trainers throughout this 10-week program. Become involved in weekly group support meetings to include nutrition, behavior modification and healthy lifestyle workshops, group and personal exercise.

Dates: Sept. 7 – Nov. 16
Sessions: Monday and Tuesday
Time: 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
