Exhibition Opens: Stacy Lynn Waddell – Saturday, Jan. 22, 1 p.m.
Stacy Lynn Waddell: The Evidence of Things Unseen showcases recent work by Chapel Hill artist Stacy Lynn Waddell in her first solo museum exhibition. This exhibition opens on Jan. 22 and runs until April 22. The exhibition is co-curated by Xandra Eden, Curator of Exhibitions, Weatherspoon Art Museum and Pamela Wall, Curator of Exhibitions, Gibbes Museum of Art, Charleston.

Artist Lecture – Thursday, Feb. 10, 5:30 p.m.
Stacy Lynn Waddell talks about her recent work in The Evidence of Things Unseen.

Waddell will also lead an all day workshop for teachers on Saturday, Feb. 12. Registration required.

Exhibition opening: Weatherspoon Art Museum: 70 Years of Collecting – Sunday, Feb. 6, 1 p.m.
Join in celebrating the public opening of Weatherspoon Art Museum: 70 Years of Collecting. This special 70th anniversary exhibition features 100 highlights from the Museum’s nationally recognized permanent collection. The afternoon begins at 1 pm with remarks from Director Nancy Doll, followed by a curator’s tour for Weatherspoon members, and a public reception hosted by the Weatherspoon Art Museum Association.
