Featured this week: Marirose Keyes Steigerwald – Stoel Burrowes – Patrick Nicholas








UNCG Alumni Association President Marirose Keyes Steigerwald ’84 was selected as a 2011 Triangle Women in Business winner. The award, announced this month by the Triad Business Journal, will be presented in August.


Stoel Burrowes (Interior Architecture), a UNCG Coleman Fellow for 2010-11 and 2011-12, was recently named one of five national Coleman Foundation Faculty Entrepreneurship Fellows selected to attend Experiential Classroom in Oklahoma in September. As a Coleman Fellow, he has developed and will be teaching a course this fall at UNCG titled Creativity, Design and Entrepreneurship.

Patrick Nicholas (Athletics) has been selected as a coach on one of the 2011 Carolina Region High Performance volleyball teams. Nicholas will serve as the head coach for the Carolina Region Select Team. The team will compete at the 2011 High Performance Championships on July 26-30 in Tucson, Ariz. From 1997-2000, Nicholas served as the head coach of the United States Select National Team.
