UNCG Campus Weekly

Campus Weekly is published each Wednesday when classes are in session. In the summer, it is published biweekly.

Black gum, crab apples, ornamental grasses

A new black gum and three Prairie Fire crab apples trees grace the east side of Gray Residence Hall.

They were planted Oct. 24 as a Sustainability Day/Arbor Day event. The trees were planted by individuals from the Sustainability Office and the Grounds Division of UNCG.

Additionally, the Staff Senate On Campus Service Committee and the Grounds Division participated in another campus beautification project on Oct. 16. Ornamental grasses were planted near the back entrance of the Mossman Building.
