Enjoy Homecoming 2012

Homecoming lasts for a week – but its biggest day is Homecoming Saturday, Nov. 3. Come enjoy the fun.

Spartan Village will open on Kaplan Commons in front of the EUC at 1 p.m. with live music, games, food and a beer garden. The homecoming parade is set for 1:30 p.m. on campus with the best viewing areas on Stirling Street.

Alumni and fans are invited to head over to the pregame tailgate party and beer garden behind Fleming Gymnasium/HHP Building from 4-6:30 p.m. Food tickets at this pregame event, which are $9, include pulled pork, chicken and sides.

The day’s festivities continue at 6 p.m. as the UNCG men’s basketball team kicks off the 2012-13 season, hosting Bluefield State in an exhibition game in Fleming Gym. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. and admission is free, but due to limited seating, a ticket is required. Tickets will be distributed from the Fleming Gym ticket office on game day beginning at 4 p.m. Gates will open at 5 p.m. (UNCG students have an opportunity for early ticket distribution Wednesday, Oct. 31.)
