Native American Heritage Month events

Two events at UNCG mark the month:

Contemporary Issues Forum: “American Indian Public Health”
Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, 4-5:30 p.m., Room 062, EUC
American Indians are disproportionately affected by preventable diseases like diabetes and obesity in comparison to other racial/ethnic groups in the United States. There are many root causes. The purpose of this forum is to discuss American Indian public health, current research and community interventions targeted at empowering American Indian communities.

“American Indian Culture and Dance Exhibition”
