Dr. Nancy Hodges (Consumer, Apparel and Retail Studies) and CARS PhD candidate Phillip Frank were awarded a Paper of Distinction Award for their paper “Reinventing ‘Towel City, USA’: Textiles, Tourism and the Future of the Southeastern Mill Town” at the International Textile and Apparel Association Annual Meeting in New Orleans on Oct. 18.
